This restaurant specializes in Vietnamese food. For some reason, probably the Lonely Planet, we thought they also had Thai food on the menu, but that turned out to be Thai names for Vietnamese dishes.
The food was a bit disappointing, less spicy than we expected. But if you expect Thai dishes, than all other food is perhaps a bit disappointing. The food was well cared for, looked neat, maybe we are not entirely objective.
The staff is attentive and friendly. They are willing to give explanations, help you in finding a pleasant place to sit. Whether they speak English, we do not know.
The restaurant is in an old wooden house, which is renovated very nicely. Downstairs is a bar, and in the back a landscaped garden, the front is almost completely open. There are a few tables. Above you can sit more quiet, a few tables stand on the balcony, so you can sit outside and watch the passers-by. It is a lovely restaurant.
The kitchen is downstairs, you can not see how the food is prepared.
We do not know what we paid. The restaurant is not cheap.
We've eaten there only once, in February 2010. In February 2011 the restaurant was closed. There is a tapas restaurant now.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
