In this restaurant without a name you can eat noodle soup, a very popular lunch dish in Thailand. You go to these kind of restaurants to eat one or more plates of noodle soup, and then you leave again. These are not restaurants where you sit for a long time.
The soup was fine, and there was plenty of pepper, fish sauce, vinegar and sugar to make it taste the way you like it.
The service is not special, you get the food that you've ordered, very fast, that's all. As in other noodle restaurants.
The restaurant is located along a narrow street, and stands on wooden poles. It is built of wood, there are five or six tables with a few low stools. Not really beautiful, but good for a Thai lunch.
The kitchen, a large kettle with a few types of broth, is in the back, next to the fridge in which meat and vegetables are stored. With this type of restaurants, the kitchen is often the front. You see what the cook does.
Noodle soup is not expensive, 15 or 20 bath for a plate, the price depends on the type of meat.
We have been there only once, in February 2010.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
