Next day we went sightseeing in the city.
There is a big park in the northern part of town, well maintained and shady.
A nice place to pass some time.
The center of town is very busy. Nakhon Sawan is located at the beginning of the Chao Praya and it has always been a trade center. Nowadays transport by water is not important, but the city is situated at important roads to the north and northeast, so the city stayed very busy.
There are a few markets along the river. A wholesale market for vegetables and fruit and a general market with lots of clothing. Pia bought some nice shirts, for a very reasonable price.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
