8 Thanon Wat Suan Dok, Mueang Lampang, Lampang, 021-962055
This is a small hotel along a quiet street in Lampang's old center, close to shops and the market. The hotel offers enough comfort for a few nights.
The hotel has four floors, and two wings.
The wing above the reception has spacious, clean rooms.
We have always slept there.
The reception is spacious, the staff is friendly and willing to help you.
The rooms are spacious, with one double or two single beds.
The beds are good, but maybe a little hard.
Everything you may expect is available, a desk, chairs, a minibar,
TV, airconditioning. The airconditioning is making a lot of noise.
The rooms appear to be clean.
The bathroom has a sink, bathtub, toilet and of course hot and cold water. It's a bit outdated.
From the rooms on front you can see a nice temple, from the back old wooden houses.
There is a lot of parking place in front of the hotel. The hotel has a travel agency, and a restaurant with a terrace, where breakfast is served. Breakfast is reasonable, but simple, westeren and Thai.
We stayed in the hotel a few times, the last time in November 2017. You pay 850 Thb for a night, breakfast included.
In 2010 the rooms were painted, and the carpet was replaced by a wooden floor.
In the hallways and the stairs are tiles.
This was a very good idea.
Now waiting for the bathroom and the airconditioning.
We sleep a total of three nights in a deluxe room again.
The room costs Thb 800 per night, the breakfast Thb 150 for 2 persons.
The first two nights we have taken with breakfast, but the breakfast was not very good.
The last night, during our second visit, we did not take breakfast at the hotel.
The room is over 25 square meters, and is painted in pleasant colors. There is a good bed, dressing table with chair, armchair, flat screen TV and a fridge with minibar. The first two nights we had a bathroom that needs renovation, the shower above the bath can not be hung, a mixer with two buttons, but there is enough hot water. The last night a room where the bath was replaced by a shower cabin, a whole improvement.
The hotel offers free wifi.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
