9-11 Thanon Thipchang, Suan Dok, Mueang Lampang, Lampang, 053-246323
Riverside is a large restaurant on the bank of the Nan river. From the restaurant you have a nice view on the river. The restaurant has a few terraces, some with a roof, some without, on different levels. Most of the time a band is playing.
The food is a mixture of Thai and Italian dishes.
The owners of the restaurant are a Thai-Italian couple,
so that explains the unusual combination.
We only ordered northern-Thai dishes, and we enjoyed the food.
One of our companions ordered a steak, and he enjoyed the food as well.
The staff is friendly and they very often ask questions about living outside Thailand. They are attentive.
We don't know what the kitchen looks like because it is behind the restaurant.
Everytime we are in Lampang, we eat at the Riverside, the last time was in March 2012.
We don't know what we had to pay. But one time we ordered fish, and the dish was much cheaper and tasted better than the same dish in Hua Hin.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
