Thai people are very hygienic,
in the Thai climate it is very important to take good care of yourself.
This is important for persons and their clothing,
but also for cars and motorcycles.
The way the cars are cleaned surpirsed us a lot.
When we go to a car wash in the Netherland, it will take about 10 minutes. The only person you see is person you will have to hand over your money.
In Thailand this is totally different. It will take at least half an hour before yoour car is finished. And everyting is done by hand.
First the complete outside of your car is cleaned with a pressure washer. Sometimes they lift your car on a car lift. After that the car is cleaned with a lot of soap, and cleaned again with the pressure washer. And then the car is dried with a lot of towels.
The outside of your car is clean, the next step is the inside. Vacuum cleaning, the windows, seats, dashboard, steering wheel, trunk.
Everything is done by hand, for less than 200 Bath (about 4 Euro). The employees come from Burma, the can hardly earn anything.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
It is our description of a situation on a certain moment, influenced by our mood.
