That's where we usually eat in Bangkok, at home, with family. Sometimes with four people, sometimes, at the weekend, with twenty people.
What we eat is very varied. Sometimes simple, fried rice, sometimes grilled or baked fish, curries sometimes, sometimes Isaan dishes.
But usually much better than in a restaurant, and much more fun.
Sometimes we eat inside, but if it is possible, and that is almost always, we eat outside on the street, at a low table with chairs.
It is, unlike in the Netherlands, very common for everyone who is eating, to contribute something. That is not money, but something you bring with you, ingredients, a dish that you've made, or help you in the kitchen.
There is not much more to say about it, yet it is one of the nicest things in Thailand.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
It is our description of a situation on a certain moment, influenced by our mood.
