The Red Lion, 123 Thanon Loi Kroh, Night Bazaar, Changklan, Muang, Chiang Mai, http://www.redlionpubchiangmai.com/.
This is an English pub and restaurant in a busy street,
near the Night Bazaar of Chiang Mai.
We arrived there by chance.
One of our companions had seen a McDonalds, and very definitely wanted to eat something there. He was the only one who wanted that, and because we happen to stand in front of The Red Lion, we agreed to wait there.
The pub has a terrace with eight to ten tables,
and inside there is a bar.
The front is completely open.
Outside, on the street, Thai food is sold by someone who also works at the pub, we think it is the wife of the owner.
On the terrace no alcohol was sold, it was a Buddhist holiday, and therefore there was a regulation in Chaing Mai, which forbade the sale of alcohol outside.
Inside alcohol was sold, but we went to sit at the bar.
The next day we went back again.
We liked it thete the first time.
After a while we got hungry, and we asked if they sold Isaan food. That was not so, but for us it was achieved. Good service.
We have been there in 2012. We do not know what we had to pay anymore, but we were not shocked by the bill.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
