Ban Rai is the capital of the district (amphoe) of the same name in the province of Uthai Thani. The district covers more than half of the province. The Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary covers a large part of the district.
In the town, which is very small, are many, low, government buildings. The city therefore gives the impression of being very spacious.
We have only been there by car.
You can certainly get there by bus, but we do not know how.
You can't get there by train, and neither by plane.
