Sawadee kha, Sawadee khrap

Dined at Wang Tok

Home - Travel stories - Ko Samui - Dined at Wang Tok

Along road 4169, Ang Thong, Ko Samui, Surat Thani.

This is a small restaurant, between the road and the beach.
There are about 10 tables, most near the sea. The beach is not very nice, but it is nice to sit there in the evening,

The restaurant

The restaurant.

The people who work there are nice and attentive. Some speak good English.

The restaurant specializes in local cuisine, such as sataw (smelly beans) with shrimp paste, salad and pickled fish and shells.
But you can also order ordinary Thai dishes.
We have eaten there three times, all the times with pleasure.

The kitchen is located in the restaurant, it is open. So you can see how your food is prepared.

The price we do not know exactly, it was not cheap, but that was because we ordered dishes with expensive ingredients.

We have been there in February 2013.
