We have been there in 2008, in a Thai bungalow park on the banks of the Srinakharindra dam. With five or six cars. Together with family and friends of Phranom, one of Pia's sisters. In order to rent a cottage in the bungalow park you have to work with EGAT, the Thai power company. One of the friends works there, he arranged the cottages.
We had a lunch in the restaurant of the park, good food, clean, nice view over the lake. And in the evening preparing a dinner outside, using the back of a pickup-truck as kitchen, along the shore of the lake, while it is getting dark slowly. That's nice and cozy.
The next morning having coffee and breakfast, again, all prepared in the back of the pickup. You actually do not so much on such days, just sitting outside, eating and drinking, but it is really very cozy.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
