Sawadee kha, Sawadee khrap

Dined at a halal restaurant

Home - Travel stories - Bangkok - Dined at a halal restaurant

Chaokhun Park, Thanon Chao Khun Tahan, Latkrabang, Bangkok.

The restaurant

The restaurant.

This is a restaurant that is run by a Muslim family.
So no pork and no alcohol. But fortunately no tobacco as well.
The menu offers a wide selection of Thai dishes.

The restaurant is new, it opened only a few months ago. It looks clean and neat.
There are two large outdoor terraces and a covered area where also is the kitchen.
And for the kids there is a playground including a ball pit.

The restaurant

The restaurant.

De staff, and there are many, is friendly and fast.
They know what's on the menu, and are willing to help you.

We have eaten grilled fish in a salt-crush, tom yam, som tam and a few Thai salads.
The food was well prepared, it tasted good. Far above avarage.
This restaurant is definitely worth it to try again.

We've eaten there with four people, and we have paid 850 THB.
Not really cheap, but given the quality certainly not too expensive.

We have been there in February 2016.
