Wine Connection is a chain of restaurants and wine shops, most of them in Bangkok, but also in the rest of Thailand.
The Wine Connection in The Paseo Latkrabang looks good.
It is a modern building, mostly glass, with modern decor.
Outside, in front of the building is a terrace where you can sit nicely.
Inside are about 15 tables, on the terrace about 6.
On the menu are mainly dishes that are based on Mediterranean cuisine.
We've eaten there a few times, mainly salads, and it tasted us well. But it is not cheap.
Pia has obviously been drinking wine, it tasted good, but also not cheap.
And Tom Beer of course. Outside on the terrace is a mobile tap, with two kinds of beer. We have been drinking Belgian and German beer, good temperature and tasty. And not cheap, but the price was not too bad anyway.
Because The Paseo Latkrabang is located close to the airport, it attracts
many tourists. The Wine Connection staff speaks
therefore a bit of English, but not fluently.
And beer tapping is not their strongest point, but they manage.
We have been here for the first time in 2014, and most recently in March 2016.
We like to sit here at the end of the afternoon.
When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
It is our description of a situation on a certain moment, influenced by our mood.
