Hua Hin is a small, famous beach resort. It is on the coast of the Gulf of Siam on the Malay Peninsula. It is located some 200 kilometers south of Bangkok.

Hua Hin is linked to Bangkok by good 4-lane highways, it takes about 2 hours drive. Buses leave Bangkok several times a day going directly to Hua Hin, or passing through to other destinations in the South. There are also daily trains from Bangkok. Hua Hin has its own airport, but there ar no scheduled flights.

The coordinates are 12° 34' 7" N 99° 57' 28" O

We have visited Hua Hin almost every year since 1989 Our last visit was in february 2011.
