The breakfast at Palazzo Roha is good again, and the hotel is now considerably busier.

Today we leave Palazzo Roha in Cefalu and head to Passo Dei Briganti in Agrigento. This hotel is located outside the city, in a rural area.
With our Garmin we drive there, now not on highways, but especially on two-lane roads. At a certain point we think things are going wrong, there is more and more waste along the way. But we are good and we find the hotel, an agriturismo.

We are early and we cannot get to the room yet, but we can have lunch in the restaurant. Two Italian families are also eating there. The food tastes good, better than expected.

After dinner we go to the Valle dei Templi, an archaeological site with ancient temples, ruins of the city of Akragas and a museum designed by Minissi. With the help of Google on Pia's smartphone we make a tourist ride through the area, but eventually we find the temples. Admission must be paid, but it is worth the effort, the complex is impressive. There is also an antique garden and a cave complex, but for both we have to pay again, just as much as for the entire complex, money tinkering, we don't do that.
When we have seen enough we go back to the hotel, again with Google, but now a very short route.

We can go into the room now, a neat room, with a good bathroom and a balcony overlooking the vegetable garden of the hotel.
In the evening we eat in the restaurant, the hotel seems to be quite full, and the restaurant too. It is cozy, the food is tasty, and one of the Italian children loves Pia. Back in the room there appears to be underfloor heating, great because it is quite cold in the evening.
Even though the hotel is full, we hear nothing from the other guests.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.

This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not. There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
