Today we first want to go to the bank, and then to the optician to order a pair of glasses for a new frame for Pia.
At about noon we walk to the road.
We are amazed again and again over a few houses along the soi, which have been uninhabited for years. If you see the overgrown gardens, it seems like you can not even get to the door.
We take a taxi (the first one this holiday) to Hua Ta Kee, and we pay a visit to the Kasikorn bank. We want to know if the money left over from the previous holiday is still in the account. That turns out to be (of course), and so we are out again very quickly.
Meanwhile, Moue calls and asks when we want to borrow her car to go to the coast. We want to leave on Wednesday.
We call another taxi and go to the
Paseo Latkrabang, to an optician where Tom has previously bought a pair of sunglasses.
Pia's eyes are measured, and eventually we order self-tinting glasses with three zones (or
whatever that may be called).
The glasses will be ready in just over a week.
Then we go to the Villa Market for some shopping.
And then we walk to
Wine Connection where they had good beer and good wine in previous years.
The draft beer now is Heineken, not entirely our intention, but it tastes quite good.
And the wine is good as always.
When we sit outside on the terrace, we are talking about our plans to go to the beach. Will it be Cha-Am or Hua Hin? Kaeng suggested a hotel in Hua Hin yesterday, but we can not find that on our smart phones. But we do find the hotel, The Bann Pantai Resort, in Cha-Am where we were last year.
We wait until we get home, maybe we'll find something on the PC.
When we walk to the road we pass stalls with ready-to-eat food, we take some food with us. And then we go home by taxi.
The hotel in Hua Hin (if we have found the right hotel) appears to be partially renovated,
namely the swimming pool and the part along the beach.
So we'll go to the Bann Pantai Resort in Cha-Am. Pia calls the hotel and reserves for four nights, about 220 Euro for a very comfortable room, including WiFi and good breakfast.
Phranom and Chouy also come for a visit, of course with food. There is enough to eat.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
