Grote Boeddha.

Grote Boeddha.

Phraput Kiti Sirichai.

Phraput Kiti Sirichai.

We have breakfast at the Baan Grood Arcadia Resort in Baan Krood, breakfast is included with the room.
The breakfast is a bit disappointing. There is plenty of choice, but it does not taste so good, especially the coffee and the fruit juice do not taste good.
And there is a large group of Thai, a group of colleagues who have a reunion. What a cackling.

The weather seems to be getting better, there is less wind and it is also less cool.

We are going to see Bang Saphan, maybe there is more to do there.
We drive along the beach, there are some hotels, but you can't call it a beach, so we leave quickly.
We drive back to Baan Krood on inland roads along the coast. These are narrow roads, well signposted, mostly close to the coast. There is a lot of green, and the beach is becoming wider. In the end we return via the southern part of the boulevard of Baan Krood.

We drink coffee at Coffee Next Door, they make good coffee. And we look at what they have to eat at a few restaurants.

We are going to look at a temple on a hill, Wat Tang Sai, with Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdee Prakat and Phraphut Kiti Sirichai. This is a beautiful temple, but not very special. The view over the coast is very beautiful.

On the way back we eat at a restaurant, Kamnan Pad Thai, at a market. Tom eats phad thai and Pia larb moo, and the food tastes very good. We hear from the owner that there is almost no fish left for sale, because of the strong wind the fishermen can not sail.
We also buy some fruit and vegetables on the market and drive back to the hotel.

We are back at the hotel for a while, and then we walk along the boulevard.
We are going to eat at Platoo Seafood, with tables along the beach, under a canopy. We order food, tom yam, fried vegetables and fried fish. The food tastes very good.
And what is striking is that the order is recorded on a tablet.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.

This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not. There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
