Today we are going to the manicure / pedicure to have our nails cut and cleaned. The one we first wanted to go to is on holiday, so we go to the old manicure / pedicure in the soi, where Lek (one of Pia's sisters) also lives. It is Wednesday, so that store is closed, but the owner is in the store and she wants to help us.
Then we walk to the Paseo Latkrabang
to pick up Pia's new glasses.
But first we eat some tasty noodle soup in the Paseo Latkrabang where all the tableware (bowl, spoon, sticks) is made from disposable material. There is a whole row of restaurants, but there is no running water to clean the tableware.
When we walk to the eyewear shop we see the first Christmas tree, a little one, but still.
As expected, we are properly assisted in the eyewear shop. The glasses look good, and Pia seems to have no problem getting used to it. Tom's sunglasses are also adjusted a bit.
Then we walk to Villa Market to do the shopping.
And as background music we only hear Christmas songs, it makes us pretty corny.
If we put wine and beer on the cart, an employee says that this is not allowed, between 2
and 5, according to Thai law, no alcohol can be sold, and it is almost 4 hours, so the store
is not allowed to sell beer and wine.
We pay for the remaining groceries and go to Wine Connection. Here, too, alcohol may not be sold between 2 and 5 (there is a sign on the door), but we do get a glass of beer and a glass of wine if we order it.
A while after 5 o'clock we go back to Villa Market to buy beer and wine and then we go home by taxi.
We eat sea bass grilled is salt, larb and vegetables.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
