Before we take a taxi we eat something along the road, khanom chin nam ya (rice noodles with a yellow curry). We are in a small but busy restaurant just around the corner from the soi, it is busy there, and the food tastes really good. This is highly recommended.
We take a taxi to Seacon, once one of the largest malls in the world, along Thanon Srinakharin. We're going to look at Robinson, a large department store chain, and the result is new caps and lingerie for Pia.
Then we go to Paradise, five minutes by taxi, also a large shopping mall along Thanon
Tom has his hair cut at a hairdresser we have known for more than five years. At first it doesn't seem to be going well, but this man understands his job very well.
And then we do more shopping, a pair of pants for Pia.
We take a taxi back at half past four, luckily it's not very busy yet.
And we are going to eat at
Phon Saep Isaan across the road where we have been before during a previous vacation.
We are the first guests, but after a while a lot of people are eating. And the food still tastes good.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
