The time has come, despite all the confusion of
yesterday we are going to Bang Saen.
It was agreed yesterday to leave at nine or half past nine, and that is what happens. Tom drives the car of Phranom and Chouy, Kaeng drives his own car.
We are with 10 people, including 3 children.
First we go down to Khao Khaew Open Zoo, a kind of safari park, where you can drive through,
and small ninety kilometers drive from Bangkok.
And driving happens, also in the safari park, especially in traffic jams.
Just after the entrance is a kind of theater where an animal show is staged, not great, but we have seen worse in Thailand. Here and there are parking places, in the beginning they are packed, everyone still wants to get out, but as we get further into the park the parking places are emptier. Apparently everyone is tired of walking; it is also far if you have to walk a hundred meters. Of course food is for sale in many places.
Then we leave for Bang Saen, about twenty kilometers back.
Along the way we go shopping at the Nong Mon market near Chonburi, crab, shrimp, glutinous rice; you could get hungry.
Bang Saen is as always packed at the weekend. We find a place near the access road, and there is food. The children swim in the sea and they have a great time. The weather is quite gloomy, little sun. Bad weather is expected, lots of rain and lots of wind, the idea is to stay until the rain starts.
But at six o'clock we go back to Bangkok, even though it is not raining yet. Naam drives because Tom has been drinking beer, and on the way it is going to rain, for at least one minute.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
