Today we depart from the
Riverhouse Resort in Mae Sariang
and we continue to Mae Hong Son.
We leave at half past nine, and then we have to refuel first.
The road is better than yesterday, but still curves, and no gas stations or toilets.
Near Mae Hong Son we stop at a nice view and drink coffee.
We arrive in Mae Hong Son around one o'clock, and we are going to look for a hotel there.
That turns out to be difficult in the center, the first hotel is a bit shabby, the next three have only one room for one night.
We drive back a bit and end up at Te Imperial Mae Hong Son Resort, two hundred meters before the city limits. They offer a nice room, but at Thb 2500 per night, and there is a power outage. We book for two nights.
And there is 1210 km on the clock.
We walk a bit to the city and eat and drink something at a small restaurant. Tastes good.
Then we go back to the hotel, and inquire about vans to the center.
They run according to schedule a few times a day, and then they are free, at other times
they cost 50 Thb per person.
We take a paid bus and are dropped off in the center at the night market. We walk around, it is relaxed and cozy. We eat at a booth, drink something at Coffee Me and take the 9-hour van back to the hotel.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
