This is a "busy" month when it comes to vacation in Thailand. We decide to go to Thailand at the end of October 2017, and return just before Christmas.
Through Nethai (our travel agency of the last few years) we have informed about prices. The price difference between a direct flight with Eva Air and a flight with a stopover or transfer is quite small. We had already drawn that conclusion ourselves based on information on the internet. So we have ordered tickets for Eva Air.
At Tom's work, the project manager appears to want to go on holiday to Thailand at the end of 2017. He has been in contact with a travel company at a holiday fair and asks for our impression of the offer. That looks good, and partly because of that the project manager is booking a holiday to Thailand. He appears to be on the return journey on the same flight.
And in our circle of acquaintances at least 4 people seem to go for sure, and a number of others probably.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
