Tom wants to go to Hua Ta Kee today to take pictures.
Pia wants to have her face massaged.
And we both want to look for a bicycle.
We're going to do the last.
Together with Moue we first look at a bicycle shop on Thanon Latkrabang, but that is
nothing, just not too nice Chinese bicycles.
Then we go to a shopping mall, Thanya Park, on Thanon Srinakharin. This appears to be a shopping mall with many empty stores.
There is a bicycle shop, with only Japanese bikes, which vary in price between Thb 5000 and Thb 35000. We look, try, and finally opt for a Thb 5000 bike, the bike is reasonable, there are 7 gears on it, and the brakes work well. A more expensive bike is always possible, next year or so if we like cycling in Thailand. Pia and Moue negotiate and the price becomes Thb 4000. Tom wants a different saddle, but the price starts at Thb 1500, too expensive for a cheap bike. And Tom wants a front lamp, Thb 700, after some negotiation it becomes Thb 600.
We are going to eat in the food court of Thanya Park and then we will pick up the bike. The food in the food court is not great, too bad.
When collecting the bike, Tom's credit card refuses, or the store's pin machine refuses. Moue pays with her credit card, and we go home quickly to see what's going on with Tom's credit card. There is nothing wrong. The store probably does not want payments with foreign cerdit cards.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
