Home - Journeys - Thailand 2018/2019 - Monday, January 28, 2019

We slept last night in Latkrabang, Bangkok and we get up around eight.

Pia wants to have a facial massage today, Tom has no plans.
In the morning we first mess around in the garden, one of the bushes has many dead branches, and we remove them. And then we want to get rid of all the dead leaves and other debris on the artificial grass field afterwards. It goes reasonably well and the artificial grass looks reasonable again.

Pia goes to the facial massage. Tom stays at home and writes PHP programs.
Tom is also looking at a trip to Laos. Buying tickets is no problem, not even at reasonable flight times. Booking a hotel in Luang Prabang is no problem either, and the combination of tickets and a hotel is also possible. But booking a trip including excursions seems impossible. Individual excursions can be booked, but they are very expensive. We will continue to search tomorrow or the day after.

At six o'clock Moue comes home with the children. They left for school this morning before half past seven. And now they have to do homework immediately, and only then can the TV be turned on; new house rules.
At half past seven Kaeng comes home, tired and sleepy, and at eight o'clock the children and Moue take to shower and go to bed. Kaeng disappeares half an hour later.
We seriously wonder if this is good for the children, but we don't know any alternative.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.

This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not. There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
