Today we are leaving for
Haad Chao Lao.
We get up on time and have a quiet breakfast.
It's pretty foggy outside, smog.
At about eleven o'clock the time has come, everyone has packed, Kaeng and Fuug are not coming anyway, all luggage is in the car, and we are leaving.
In Hua Ta Kee we have to wait fifteen minutes for Pooh, who comes by bus. While waiting we see Cha-Ee, a niece of Pia, also walk by.
The journey goes well, it is sometimes busy on the motorway, but everything continues to run.
On the way we eat something in Klaeng and at half past two we are at the
When we check in we can still get two bungalows, and that fits exactly with the five adults and two children. It has not yet been told to the resort that we want to stay three nights, but luckily that is also possible, only one bungalow will be exchanged for a 3-person room just behind it.
The children go swimming in the sea and in the pool.
In the hotel also stays a large group of Japanese (?) children who are on holiday here. The children are well supervised and are busy all the time.
In the evening we go to the Yaitu Seafood restaurant where we also had dinner at our
previous visit to Haad Chao Lao
ook hebben gegeten, but the restaurant is closed today.
We drive along the road and arrive at a sister restaurant of Yaitu Seafood restaurant. The food tastes good, it is comfortable, except for a few mosquitoes.
Pia and Moue remember that the cremation of the old abbot of Wat Soong takes place on
Saturday afternoon and that they have promised to be present.
So we have to go back on Saturday.
We also have to explain that to the resort because we have just arranged an extra night.
The children are tired, they want to go to sleep, so we go back to the resort.
If we still want to walk to the beach it is raining, we just sit in front of our bungalow.
After fifteen minutes the rain stops a bit and we still sit at the beach. There are a lot of mosquitoes and we are going back, we are just sitting in front of the bungalow.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
