Tom wants to be at the airport at ten.
We pack the last bit of luggage, and also the mangos that are even now being brought. The suitcases together weigh nearly 60 kg, the cabin luggage more than 25 kg; cabin baggage can be a problem, way too much.
We arrive at the airport on time, and check-in goes smoothly; the luggage is no problem.
We see that the plane has a delay of half an hour.
The baggage check and customs go super fast, and nowhere are rows and that is amazing but very pleasant.
We buy tax-free Doi Tung coffee and make-up, and we eat and drink something.
When we walk to the gate, the delay has been extended to more than an hour, and we finally leave one and a half hours later.
The plane is packed, it's a code-share flight with Thai Airways, but the takes good care, plenty to eat and drink.
The aircraft is at the gate at Schiphol at nine o'clock.
The passport check is of course no problem and at ten o'clock we have the suitcases and we walk through customs where Tinoi is waiting for us.
At half past eleven we are home, where the heating does not work.
We have to reset the boiler.
After that, smoke is created somewhere in the house and the smoke alarm goes off. It appears to come by a cap that rests against a warm lamp. This is not nice and easy coming home.
We unpack the suitcases and sit down and relax.
Almost all plants are dead, either due to the cold or too much water.
There is a pile of mail, but it doesn't seem very serious.
At two o'clock, 26 hours after we got up, we go to bed.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
