This hotel is right next to the hotel where we were staying.
We walked past the restaurant, looked for a moment, walked away, and we came back.
It is a small restaurant with 20 seats. The interior looks a bit southern European, it looks neat.
The menu is limited, a few types of steak (beef, pork, salmon) and a few other dishes.
The menu is Thai and English.
Wine is sold by the glass, and of course there is beer.
We have eaten salmon steak and sirloin steak. The salmon came from the freezer, the steak too, and raw was more medium. The fries were fresh and the salad and vegetables too. And there was real mayonnaise.
We started talking to the owner, a Thai man, who lived in Geneva for more than 30 years, and
who started this restaurant to have something to do during his retirement.
Everything indeed comes from the freezer, he said. It is not possible to always have fresh products in stock.
We have received a free drink, home-made herbal liqueur, from him. Even though the food wasn't quite what we wanted, it was a pleasant evening.
