Wat Prathat Phasornkaew is a temple located in the Khao Kho district of changwat
The temple is located on an 830 meter high hill, a few hundred meters from the village of
Khaem Son along highway 12.
There are a few things that make this temple so special:
There is an image with five sitting Buddhas sitting one behind the other, or perhaps there are five images. We don't know exactly.
The buildings are inlaid with mosaics and pieces of pottery and that gives this temple a special colorful appearance, but also an almost non-Thai appearance.
And from the temple there is a fantastic view over the surrounding hills.
We were here in on op Saturday, December 15,2018. It is very busy here on weekends and public holidays, many Thai visitors come to this temple. Fortunately there is enough parking space.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
