In the early afternoon we go by car to Pia's brother Titnoi in Wat Soong, one of the Buddhist temples in Lat Krabang. We find him in the usual place in the temple and Pia talks to him for a while. We get the impression that he is still having a good time, and we are happy about that.
We leave the car at the temple for a while and walk to Tahoun's sister.
Tahoun used to sell bami soup every day from his boat, when Pia's family lived along Khlong
Now his sister does that from her house near Wat Soong.
When we eat noodles, Pia says she wants to go to her newly discovered hairdresser to buy something. And Pia gets a message about Vietnam, Luuk Naam now has a trip to Danang for three nights.
Pia got the hairdresser's address on her phone and we drive there. We're getting close, but we can't find the address. After some inquiries we arrive in the neighborhood where Pia's uncle Titpao also lives. We talk to the hairdresser and then we drive home.
At home we look together with Moue at the offer for Vietnam.
There is only one period available, but we can just do that with Tom's 30-day visa waiver.
It is quite an overloaded program, starting with a flight to Vietnam, then immediately
excursions and only in the evening to the hotel.
The next day to another hotel in Hôi An where we stay for two nights.
Transport in Vietnam is by minibus.
It costs about 11000 Thb, for Tom 12000 Thb and he has to get a visa himself.
This is not what we had in mind ourselves, but we will do it. Next time we will arrange something from the Netherlands, something with a little more rest.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
