In 2020, when we are in Bangkok, we always stay in the house of Pia's youngest sister Moue,
just like in previous years.
She lives in a rather small house in Lat Krabang, with her husband Kaeng, their daughter
Focus and their son Gunn.
There is also a nephew, Kaeng, a 14-year-old boy, who has to learn a trade here in Bangkok, because he has problems at home with his family.
Lat Krabang is a district of Bangkok. The house is located in a quiet soi (side street) behind the motorway to Chonburi, about a fifteen minute drive from the airport.
The house is not that big, but there is enough space.
There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. When Moue moved in, the kitchen was built next to the house.
And in front of the house is a small garden, and a driveway for a car.
The soi ends up on Thanon Chalong Krung, a wide road, where more and more restaurants and shops are coming.
It is easy to survive here when we are on vacation.
The room where we sleep is quite small, less than 20 square meters, but there is air
conditioning and a good bed and there is enough cupboard space.
We have to share the bathroom, but that doesn't cause any problems.
At about seven o'clock the children are brought to school, and then Moue and Kaeng go to work. They don't come home until seven in the evening, and they go to sleep two hours later.
We have the house almost always to ourselves.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment, there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood, the weather and many other factors.
