Hua Hin is a small, well-known seaside resort. The town is situated on the Gulf of Thailand on the Malay Peninsula. The distance to Bangkok is about 200 kilometers.
Hua Hin is easy to reach by car. From Bangkok you drive in 2 hours on good four-lane highways to Hua Hin. There are many daily buses to Hua Hin, sometimes with Hua Hin as a destination, sometimes they go further to the south. Trains run daily to Hua Hin. Hua Hin has an airport, but there are no scheduled flights.

We come to Hua Hin almost every year since 1989. Our last visit was in February 2015.
