Slept at Amarin Nakorn Hotel

Home - Travel stories - Phitsanulok - Slept at Amarin Nakorn Hotel

Thanon 3/1 Chaophraya, Mueang Phitsanulok, Phitsanulok.

This hotel is centrally situated in Phitsanulok, within walking distance of the railway station, the market, the night bazar and Wat Mahathat.

We visited Phitsanulok a few times, and we always stayed in this hotel.
It is a typical Thai hotel, a large hall, a restaurant and a coffee shop next to the hall and the reception in the back. The hotel has around 10 floors, and behind the hotel is a vast parking place.

The rooms are fairly comfortable, that is all there is to say about the rooms. The bathroom is the same, a typical Thai bathroom, everything is functioning, but the plumbing does not look very professional.
During our last visit, we noticed the rooms were redecorated.

We keep coming to this hotel because of the location, it is easy to reach by car, end you can go everywhere on foot.
We have the impression less guests are staying in the hotel. There used to be live music in the restaurant every night, but during our last four or five visists there was no music anymore.
This hotel is a good place to stay for one or two noghts, but not for a longer period.

In march 2010 we paid about ca 800 Thb for one night.

When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
It is our description of a situation on a certain moment, influenced by our mood.
