Sawadee kha, Sawadee khrap

Dined at Kong Samut Seafood Restaurant

Home - Travel stories - Cha-Am - Dined at Kong Samut Seafood Restaurant

Along the beach, near the King Naresuan Monument, Cha-Am, Phetchaburi.

We had been to the harbor, all the way to the pier, on the bicycle.
And that makes you thirsty and hungry, especially if it is lunchtime.
In Thailand, near a fishing port, there is always plenty to eat. Also in Cha-Am.

On the beach and near the harbor we saw a number of restaurants. The majority very quiet and rather gloomy.
Samut Kong Seafood Restaurant looked more cheerful, and there were more cars and bikes in the parking lot.
That is why we decided to eat in this restaurant.

The restaurant

The restaurant.

The restaurant is on the beach, along a kind of river. The view was nice.
Inside it also looked good, cheerful wooden tables and chairs, about 20 tables.
And an open kitchen.

We have ordered grilled shrimp, a baked sea bass and fried rice with crab.
The food was tasty, and it was served quickly
The people in the restaurant were friendly and attentive.

We have been there for teh first time in February 2016. Our last visit was in November 2017.

When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
