Dined at Da Vinci

Home - Travel stories - Cha-Am - Dined at Da Vinci

274/34 Thanon Ruam Chit, Cha-am.

Somewhere, on a site about Cha-am, we read that Da Vince was a top Italian restaurant in Cha-am.
Therefore, we went there.

It was very quiet.
And it looked rather bleak. But nevertheless went inside.
The waitress was nice and the drinks arrived quickly.

The menu was a surprise.
Few Italian dishes, more Scandinavian.
Not what we expected.

Pia did not like this and went out to order som tam on the beach. Not Italian either, but, if you are hungry.
Tom ordered a Scandinavian dish which was put on the table after a while.
It looked well cared for, meat, vegetables, potato puree.
But the meat was not so good, very tough.
The vegetables and potatoes tasted well.

We were not imprssed by this restaurant.
Not recommended.

When we write about a place, we write about what we saw and did there, and what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travelguide (we are not complete), and it is neither an advice to visit or not to visit a place. Other sites can give you that information.
Our opinion about a hotel or restaurant is not ment to be a (positive or negative) review, you can find that information on other sites.
It is our description of a situation on a certain moment, influenced by our mood.
